When you think about it, who better than a company whose reputation was made in the Canadian wilderness? We have the experience and know-how to protect the heat source better than anybody we can think of. At the heart of the matter is the inner boot lining system we make in our New Hamburg, Ontario plant. Called Zylex^®, it's one of the many qualities found in Kamik boots.

	OutDRY - A patented waterproofing system that seals stitched footwear uppers by permanently bonding a waterproof and breathable membrane to the boot.
	Waterproof DriDEFENSE - A proprietary waterproof, breathable membrane that lets moisture out without letting water in.
	Waterproof Seam Sealed - Kamik uses specially treated leathers and nylons that repels water and combines it with waterproof tapes and or sealants that are applied to all the seamed areas. As a result, no water can seep through the stitching and feet stay warm and dry.
	Weatherproof - Protection for when winter weather attacks. Waterproof uppers combined with waterproof shells help keep slush and snow out.
	Kamik's IceCLAW Rubber - A synthetic rubber engendered to keep its traction and flexibility in cold weather.
	Anti-microbial treatment built onto the footbed fights odor causing bacteria and fungus, providing continous odor control.
	Kamik (He) Helium Rubber - A lightweight recyclable PVC free synthetic rubber that was engineered to keep its flexibility and traction in both hot and cold temperatures.
	Kamik Zylex 4F - 19.5mm of foam & polypropylene provide insulation while wicking moisture away from the foot keeping them warm and dry. A breathable outer layer of thermal foil reflects body heat back to the foot and keeps cold out. Reinforced seams, binding and heel patch add added durability. Comfort rated to -100oF /-74o
	Kamik Zylex 2F - 15mm of foam & polypropylene provide insulation while wicking moisture away from the foot keeping them warm and dry. A breathable outer layer of thermal foil reflects body heat back to the foot and keeps cold out. Reinforced seams, binding and heel patch add added durability. Comfort rated to -58oF /-50o
	Zylextra - 8mm combination of foam & polypropylene provides superior insulation while wicking moisture away from the foot keeping them warm and dry. A breathable outer layer of thermal foil reflects body heat back to the foot and keeps cold out. Reinforced seams and heel patch add added durability. Comfort rated to -58oF/-50o
	Zylex - 6mm or 8mm of polypropylene felt liner provides superior insulation and wicks perspiration away from the foot. A breathable outer layer of thermal foil reflects body heat back to the foot and keeps cold out. Reinforced seams, binding and heel patch add added durability. 6mm Zylex~ is comfort rated to -25oF/-32oC & 8mm Zylex~ is comfort rated to -400F/-40o
	Thermal Guard - 8mm removable polypropylene felt liner provides superior insulation and wicks perspiration away from the foot. Reinforced seams and heel patch add added durability. Comfort rated to -400F/-40o
	Thinsulate- A unique microfiber developed by 3M. Constructed of unique microfibers that trap air, retain body heat and deliver warmth two times greater than down and other polyester insulations when equal thickness are compared.
	Thinsulate Supreme - Combines the exceptional, lightweight warmth and comfort of Thinsulate with the proven antimicrobial odor control of X-STATIC - the Silver Fiber.
	Comfort Rating - A guide for cold weather protection. These ratings are based on laboratory and field-testing. The guides were developed to help determine particular needs. Other variables affect protection, including circulation, presence of moisture, body temperature, windchill and outerwear quality.
	3M Reflective - A highly reflective material designed to increase visibility at night.
	Kamik Comfort Footbed - Engineered to provide excellent arch support and cradle the natural contours on the foot.
